The Next Chapter ran free training courses for unemployed people but ran into funding problems and had to close.Rhyl Shopmobility, 155 High Street, the organisation that sells, hires out, maintains and repairs wheelchairs and shopping scooters, and takes on unemployed trainees, has hit financial problems and might have to close too.
The runes say big cuts in public spending are on the way. No matter what political party forms the Government after the forthcoming General Election, it seems probable that quite a few charitable and community projects may go to the wall.
