This week I spotted our new school being built at the side of the Leisure Centre behind Rhyl High School in Grange Road. The new school will replace Rhyl High and absorb pupils from special school Ysgol Tir Morfa.
The Leisure Centre is going to survive, but the old High School building is to be demolished. Whatever the pros and cons of it, the new school costs us £25 million. I wonder what a nice-looking one would have cost.
