promenade:
the crowning of our 1964 Skating Queen Caroline Howells of Bath Street. Standing behind Caroline is the previous year’s Queen, Andrea Kubicz of Edgbaston Road. On Caroline’s right is 1964 Belle Of The Rink, Linda Vaughan of Bodfor Street. Oh, how the girls loved their roller skating! Placing the crown (a jewelled tiara, actually) is Mrs. Ivy Kay, Principal of Prestatyn Dancing School.
