Here’s an addition to our stock of May Day pictures; this is from Gaynor Williams. The photo is not dated but seems a fairly early one (our first May Day was in 1891). A note on the back does not identify the May Queen but says that the picture was taken near the junction of Wellington Road and Queen Street. It’s Queen Street all right, and a shop sign in the background says ‘Bath’s & Sons’.--
