Shown above is an emblem of the Borough of Rhuddlan, the council that administered Rhyl, Prestatyn, St Asaph and surrounding villages from 1974-96. Its motto says Rhuddlan Crud Cymru, which translates as Rhuddlan, Cradle of Wales.
You can see an emblem like this in a number of places. Where in Rhyl is this particular one?
