The colour photograph above was taken a week or two ago by Yours Truly. It shows the eye-catching Marina Apartments block of flats in Marine Drive. It is owned by Haigh Properties Ltd who also own the new building on the right, Hydro Apartments.Marine Hydro was a major hotel as the full page advert from a Rhyl Urban District Council tourist guide shows. In its earliest days the hotel could provide hydrotherapy (water therapy) to soothe your pains and treat your ailments.
