Albert Barnes the originator of Marine Lake Fun Fair and Ocean Beach Fun Fair. Mr. Barnes passed away in 1972 at his home in Oakland Avenue

Albert Gubay, founder of Kwik Save Stores. His first Rhyl shop was named Value Foods and was on the northeast side of Queen Street.
