The Kids Fun Club (whose logo is pictured above left) runs at the John Davies Building in Marsh Road, Rhyl, with the support of South West Rhyl Communities First. The building is pictured above right; it is opposite the Good News Mission.
The club is for young people 8-24 who require special attention because they have perhaps a behavioural problem or mental or physical disability of some kind. It's a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers who share the belief that all young people have the right to play and socialise in a safe environment without being subjected to bullying.
The club offers a wide range of activities including art, bingo, sports, parties, swimming, gardening, music, dance etc. Sessions are at differing times on various days of the week; some last 2 hours and cost £2, and some go on for 6 or 7 hours and cost only £5 including lunch. For further details please phone (01745) 360488 or mobile 07943 611 262.
